A famosa review: by the worst critic ever

How are you people? Good? Bad?


I had a small family outing in Melaka last weekend. i was the person taking charge of the bookings, and coordinating things. We arrived a little bit late at A Famosa Resort. Check in time is at 4.00 pm. We were there at around 4.40pm.


Very unfortunate, the room was not ready. the situation during the check in was hot and humid. the aircond was not functioning. about half an hour, we got the room. FYI, their system was down, thus, they cant locate our pre-book tix. lucky being me, i brought everything: papers, maps, slips, etc.


Now, when i tried to open the door, the access card cannot help us. I had to go back to the check in area (quite a distance) and get another card. HORRIFIED of the swimming pool condition, landscape was badly maintained. I got to call their supervisor and SMS her each and everytime to make sure they clear the mess.


So, that night, we went to the Cowboy Town. RM30 each for pre-booked tix. Purchase there, it's RM45. What we had was: some kind of 30 mins red indian show (the AMAZE part was just the API) and the animal parade (with some dirty entertainment). and the rest is fun fair. Urrgghhh!


Next day, we went out to Mini Malaysia. My aunt got too excited. Lucky me. She loves it! It was so tiring. HOT. HOT. HOT. but it was fun.


From there, we drove to Banda Hilir to eat. OMG. Too many traffic lights!! it took us more than an hour to arrive. Sadly, we didnt manage to get the Asam pedas. Ended at some Nasi padang restaurant. DARN.


Next, we wanted to head straight to the resort and swim. TRAFFIC LIGHTS hinder us from those joy. We got stuck. AGAIN.


Upon arriving the resort, all of us jumped straight in the water (salty water. dont ask). And by 8.00 pm we drove to the talkabout UMBAI. DARN. another hour ride. Gosh!! And the food was not that GOOD.


Then we drove to the resort. and sleep. (boring).


next morning. we swam and packed and lucky to be out of the resort.


I regret:

1. For staying at A famosa resort. Overrated.

2. For entering the cowboy town. Ridicilous (they get you to take photo with their albino snake... Urrggghh!!)

3. For staying outskirt. Too far from anything else at the bandar.


There. I've said it. You decide.

salam. Writing thru my hp since laptop kt atas n mls nk amik. Ye. Saya marah amat kerana ada org suka panggil org last2 masa nk blk. Saya marah sbb ada org suka nk perbesarkan bnda kecik. I am supermad coz tht some1 nvr bother of other ppl's commitment in life. They nvr knw wht a mother like myself hav n need to do after work. Paling marah,tindakan org tu menyebabkan saya tidak dpt brgurau dgn arysa coz smpai umah dh kul 7.45mlm n dia tdo jam 8.00mlm. I do gv shit on tht. Coz she's my daughter n i want to raise her. Hanye masa dia dh tdo n i tgk2 hp ada gamba ni. I trus senyum.

ASTRO CERIA!

Lupa nak upload cerita pasal ni. Pada 14 Dec 08 yang lepas, ofis ada buat satu aktiviti luar bersama anak-anak yatim Rumah Silaturrahim Nurul Qanaah (RSNQ). Yang mana ada setengah daripada kakitangan kitorang, berlumus-tungkus membersihkan dan menyelenggara rumah tersebut sementara separuh yang lain membuat tugasan membawa adik2 ni ke Pusat Sains Negara dan Planetarium Negara. Nak dijadikan cerita, masa kami ke Pusat Sains Negara, ASTRO ada buat macam school holiday programs: mcm2 ada… Ada stage yang menempatkan kartun-kartun dalam Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, mcm2 la… Untung adik2 ni dapat datang time ni. Banyak jugak barang depa bawak balik. Saya pun tak lepaskan peluang bergambar bersama mascot ASTRO CERIA. Comel tak mascot ni?
