Ujian, dugaan dan rahmat

Salam jumaat yang berkat buat semua!

Hari ni genap hari kelima mc sebab sakit mata. Aduhai. Macam-macam perkara jadi for the past few weeks. Semuanya penuh dugaan, ujian, di samping mendapat apa yang dihajati.

Bermula dari saat ai sepatutnya Outstation ke kedah. Time tu la dapat tau shakyra kena demam campak. Perasaan? Serba tak kena. Yela kan, i have to fulfill my job at the same time shakyra tak boleh nak g taska sebab demam campak. In the end, Allah bagi jalan dengan cara My other teammate volunteer to go. Alhamdulillah. So kat situ, ujian dia ialah Anak tak sihat. Rahmat dia ialah dapat jaga Anak walaupun terpaksa amik cuti.

Syukurla after that semua berjalan lancar. Kerja banyak tapi still boleh fokus.
Then, aryssa pulak demam. Allahuakbar. Ujian sekali lagi. Tapi rahmatnya? Ai dapat jadi emcee org kawen dan berjaya keluar dari kepompong rasa rendah diri. Subhanallah. Allah memang pandai atur baik2 kehidupan kita kan?

Seterusnya, Allah bagi lagi ujian. Shakyra masuk wad sebab ada Lung infection pulak. Oh my. Dengar macam takut bunyi dia kan? Memang pun. Dah 2 minggu dia duk batuk selesema and for her age, we must always pay attention. Takut melarat and it can get nasty.

Dengan work at the office, dengan ada big event for the company coming at the end of the week, berpinar2 mata ni pikir macamana nak buat. Taking leave is not an option. Tak sanggup dan tak sampai ati. Cemana lepas tu? Allah turunkan sakit pulak. Dia bagi ai sakit mata. Aaaaa merasa mc lama. So ujiannya: anak masuk wad, ai sakit mata dan rahmatnya, i can take care of shakyra at wad (dengan memakai shades ala2 retis gitu. Haha).

Subhanallah.. Sememangnya aturan sudah cantik. Maka tak boleh ragu lagi akan perjalanan hidup. Memang ai admit, masa dapat sakit mata and doc kata shakyra kne admit, ai thought, why is this happening to me? I have lots of things to do! Tapi bila kita pikir semula, that is a way for me to stick with shakyra kat hospital.. Betul? Kan?

Ok cukup membebel. Sebenarnya takde apa nak tulis. Just nak make sure I wrote this somewhere so that nanti bila ada lagi kejadian serupa ni, ai can always remember that His plan is wayyyyy better than I can think of.

Allahuakbar!

Nah. Gambar anak dara.

visiting tanah aina

Assalamualaikum semua...
It has been almost 3 weeks now! Pejam celik, pejam celik je kan? Alhamdulillah.. Allah permudahkan segalanya. With a new job, new place, new teammates. Semuanya baik-baik belaka di Petrosains ni..
Anyway...recently all of us in the department got to join a team-building session at tanah aina. Seriously, terus teringat kat tempat kerja lama. Baru je join the team, then I got to join them for a workshop cum trip to sarawak dan bertemu chenta hati, en naza. Ok poyo pulak bunyiknya. So off we went to tanah aina on 19th may to 20th May. Bunyik macam lama ek? To be honest, I was not really looking forward for this trip sebab I hate outdoor. Panas. Melekit. Letih. Semualah. Tapi work punya pasal kan.. And for the first time ummi terpaksa tinggalkan shakyra dengan aryssa kat onni dia.. Sob sob. Mari mengikuti pengalaman ini menerusi gambar...

After about sejam setengah perjalanan dari kl ke Bentong, so we all pun sampaila kat simpang nak masuk Tanah Ainaa. Ni I dengan my ofismate nama dia Ash. We have to ride the Jeep la kiranya cause dari jalan utama ke tanah ainaa adalah sangat mencabar routenya. Terhentak-hentak gitu. Buleh terkeluar makanan baru masuk mulut tadi.

Pastu dah sampai je, we all been served with cold drinks and refresh ourselves dengan wet towel. Terasa macam Vip sungguh upon arrival tu.

Then off we went to our accommodation. We all dapat dorm for ladies and another dorm for guys. Sebelah menyebelah je pun. Dia katil bertingkat. No TV, peti ais and aircond. Toilets belakang dorm je but I didnt manage to take some photos of it. Tapi... Memang taraf hotel la jugak toilet dia. Oh and you cant uae your own soap and shampoo ye.. Sila gunakan yang sedia ada, which is to me sangat refreshing.

Lepas dah letak barang and lunch, we all masuk dewan dia. Panas sikit sebab guna kipas je kan. Kalau korang perasan, ni la team HR kami. Nama dia Amat. Heheheh. Host Bangbangboom katanya. So it made our stay more enjoyable sebab dia memang pandai buat orang tergelak.

One of the tasks dalam kelas was to draw your friend's face and then each of the team must give one character of that friend. Makanya inilah wajah saya yang dilukis oleh HAsnan. Comel kan? And a few characteristics they saw in me walaupun I baru je join. Calm? Belum kenal betul la ni kan. Hehe.

Oh, and alhamdulillah.. Sibuk dengan class and aktiviti pun I still pam my milk for shakyra. I tumpang peti ais kat tempat dining. Alhamdulillah semua very supportive about breastfeeding. Even Amat pun concern on the storage of my Ebm. Thanks ya.

Inilah lokasi dining we all. I think it is so nice to eat next to the river. Sejuk dan Perghh.. Buat orang lagi lapar la.. Haha.

Lempeng kelapa pun ada!

This bridge is the best place for phone reception. Kat sini susah dapat line kecuali Celcom. Moralnya, owner tempat ni nak orang berbual dengan nature, bukan dengan gadget. Terasa ai.

Bila bosan, kat bawah dorm ada games area. Ada tempat nak main pingpong, pool and carom. Ada stage lagi kalau nak karaoke. Tempat sangat bersih.

Aaaa TV kan takde dalam bilik, so they made a special area to watch TV (ada astro tau), read books yang readily available kat situ, and board games. Quite an interesting area sebabnya sungai kat tepi tu membuahkan rasa ketenangan. Tido pun best je.

Buffet area. My fav place lagi. Makanan sefap and fresh. Dah la banyak variety. Adoi. Makan 6 kali sehari lak tu. Macam kat MRSM dulu. Susu pun meriahhhh. Yey! Free flow of coffee, tea and misai kucing tea. Best kan?

The hall that we used for training sessions. Landscape menarik.

Ni hall dia. Tak sempat nak tanya ada tak wedding buat kat sini. Tapi dewan kecik je. Takde la besar mana. Dalan tu siap ada big sofa and carpet. Perghhh macam kat rumah sendiri.

Flying fox. Adoila. First time buat and I enjoyed it. Nak jugak buat second time, tapi nak menapak naik bukit tu macam seksa je. So I pass.
Next to the bridge tadi ada tempat ikan berkumpul sebab visitors boleh bagi ikan makan pellets dia kat situ. Beli kat kedai serbaneka yang ada kat situ. Oh ya! We all semua pakai kasut getah rm12 yang turut dijual kat kedai tu. Katanya mudah for tracking nak ke air terjun nanti.

Dining hall Cantek kan.

Aaaa ni la lobi first time kami sampai yang dapat air sejuk tu. Best. Lepak je rasa.

Trail to the waterfall!

Ada yang buat terjun leap of faith..tingginya 17 kaki. Dalam airnya 20kaki! So ofkosla I tk terjun kan... Seremm la..

Kan tadi I ada citer pasal kedai nak beli kasut getah kan? Sini la tempatnya. Ada jugak jual shower gel, syampu dengan minyak urut kat sini. Semua bau just like the one in the toilet. Oh they sell some tanah aina merchandise too. We got ourselves a tshirt each for photo session (erm dah masuk dalam budget so amik je la kan)

And finally.. Tbis is the marketeers! Funny yet they are so loving! Best of all they care for each other. Just like my old 'home'. :)

On the Jeep again nak balik ke KL. I brought with me all the first-hand memories of these marketeers.. Semoga hubungan semakin erat, produktiviti semakin menyerlah. Chewaahhh!

So basically thats it for tanah aina. Quite an expensive holiday tapi to me worth the price. Nature at its best. Oh yes, lupa nak share. There's one shop tepi jalan nama Tok'ki Lemang. Kata org femes sangat kat Bentong. I didnt buy it sebab I duk sibuk pam susu dalam bas otw balik tu. Haha. Well, a mother still need to do what shes suppose to do despite being away kan...

Okay, more stories to come. Insya Allah.

Quick getaway : 4 of us

Assalamualaikum and good day to all!

Phew! Finally my confinement period ends and I always make it a point to have a short getaway with my small family before I return to work.

So our lucky charm blings; we got a free stay voucher at the Swiss Garden Hotel and Spa in Kuantan. Alhamdulillah. (How? Well long story, to cut it short, we have to spend almost 3 hours to get it). Checked in on 31st Mar and checked out on 2nd Apr. Yup not valid during weekends, these free vouchers.

We got a room facing the pool. So I got to watch Aryssa and her Abah playing in the pool from the room's balcony. Bringing a baby not more than 2 months old, both of us think it is best to spend time in the hotel itself. We bought meal vouchers too.
On room: 2 single beds which then we combined it so that we can stick together (and attend to baby Shakyra when she wakes up at night). Facility wise all in good condition. But I think if they have the best spa, they should provide a better toiletries range. The one smell just like when you come out of a spa. Oh, but we occupied the room with mosquitoes. We have bath tub in the room so I spent time in it rather than in pool. Bliss. Hot water and bubbles really took me away. :)

On pool: I didnt even touch the water. But from the look of it, they have pool for kids, adults and a jacuzzi. not much shade though, so bring your sunblock.

On spa: did I mention I brought my baby too? So no spa session for me. I did my relaxation routine while nursing Shakyra. Seriously it is fun and soothing to see her smiling at me. :)

On meal: buffet for breakfast was good. They have nasi lemak, mee goreng, pancake and all. I always love breakfast buffet more than any other meal. Lunch buffet was simple. It has all Malay dish abd fruits and dessert. That's all. Naza ate lots of lamb - cooked with black pepper. Now, for dinner buffet, we had dishes like the one you would order in a halal Chinese restaurant. And.. Grill station! Also pasta. Ok must admit I ate a lot that night (and on any other night. it's for my baby.. Hehe).

On facilities: we didnt use that a lot. But we went to their convenient store after swimming session. It has all that you want but be prepared to pay extra. Room service was fast too. Oh but there was a tine when I was in the room nursing Shakyra and I heard a knock. I kept silence and heard the door opened. I said: "yes?" from my bed. And the lady (must be the staff) said sorry and went off. When we were out for lunch, we hung up the "do not disturb" sign. surprisingly when we entered the room, it has been cleaned and rearranged!

I do hope there will be more sessions off home with my family. I really enjoyed it. Just to take your mind off from something. Next: in search of a good spa session. Yippie!

the awaited gift

Assalamualaikum and good day to all.

Been a bit busy lately recuperating and kissing the smell of heaven at home. Yes, I have given birth - my third child. Alhamdulillah, Allah is The Most Merciful for He has given His blessing for us to have another baby after Aryan Ummar left us.

As I have always been doing before this, I would like to share with you my experience delivering this gift. This entry will also serve as a memory for the future.

June 2013
I was confirmed pregnant again! Subhanallah, the feeling is undescribable. Crying for His kindness towards me and my family.

3 Feb 2014
It's my 37 weeks checkup. Feeling big (as big as a watermelon), exhausted, and everything you could have experienced as a pregnant lady. But it's not time yet. "I'll see you again in a week ya. We'll do VE by then"

7 Feb 2014
Who would have thought this will be my last day working before maternity leave?

9 Feb 2014
that night, I didnt really sleep. Backache has becoming so tense. Almost 2 weeks now that i have been sleeping on a reclining chair.

10 Feb 2014
it's 3 am. Woke up as I can clearly feel something different. Like that urge to push something out. Got my gym ball and do a little of exercise to ease the pain. I prayed to Him to ease the pain. Woke up Naza and the next thing he did was getting the bags ready at the door. "Nak gi hospital sekarang ke?" "Taknakla. Mesti baru 2 cm je ni" "kalau camtu, try tido la kang kalau nak push pagi nanti takde tenaga pulak" To which I agreed and by 4.30 am, i fell asleep again.

8am. Getting ready to meet my gynae, Dr Kamariah of Tunku Azizah Maternity Home. In the shower, I can see some blood already. Okay, this is it! Shivering, I drank a cup of milo and some bread to go with.

9.45 am already. Dilated at 6cm already! Alhamdulillah! Ready in the labor room with Naza and our team for the day. 'Ubat berak' - poo time - 7 cm - they broke my waterbag - put me on a drip and add a little amount of oxytoxin - contractions coming strong! Legs cant stand still
Grabbed Naza's hand so tight, he cant move a single minute. Then I was given a penthadine to ease the pain (to be honest, it was not as painful as giving birth to Aryssa and Ummar. Dont know why they insist on taking this though, but it helped to slow down a bit).

12.45 pm and the Dr came in again (nice of her coming in quite often to see how am I doing). Okay she has changed her outfit to something look like a butcher at the market. "Okay Aida, dah 9cm ni. When you feel the contraction, you can push" and I was waiting and taking a deep breath I tried the best for my first push. No luck but the baby's head is showing in and out already. Second push was the same. Before the third one, I can barely here the sounds accompanying my baby. But I can hear clearly the Dr said "get ready the vacuum please. Aida, let's do this long one ya. Otherwise I have to use the vacuum" Again? (Yes, both aryssa and ummar were born via vacuum too). Not this time, I heard myself saying back in my mind. So, deep long breath and longgggg push it is!

1.14 pm and I can see her on my belly! Subhanallah! Crying. Crying. Syukur ya Allah.

Born with 3.7 kg (thanks to roti nan chesse RSMY, nasi daun pisang in Bangsar), this beauty is named Nur Aryana Shakyra (cahaya kehidupan yang penuh kesyukuran - for she came after our lost and showed us the meaning of syukur).

Thanks to everyone for your prayer. :)
